REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

At Salida Gun Shop, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Because our products are made-to-order specifically for you, we have the following refund and return policy.

Our Guarantee 

We stand behind the quality of our products. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, we will make it right.

Eligible Returns 

We accept returns or offer refunds/replacements in the following cases:

Defective Products:

  • Manufacturing defects (misprints, incorrect colors, poor quality) • Damaged items received 

Wrong Items:

  • You received the wrong size, color, or design • We shipped the wrong product 

Non-Returnable Items 

Due to our print-on-demand model, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse
  • Incorrect size ordered by customer
  • Items that have been worn, washed, or altered
  • Items damaged by the customer after delivery 

Return Process 

If you believe you qualify for a return or refund:

  1. Contact us within 30 days of receiving your order at ahfscolorado@gmail.com
  2. Include: Order number, photos of the defective/incorrect item, description of the issue
  3. Wait for approval before returning any items
  4. We will provide: Return shipping label (for eligible returns) or replacement order 

Refund Methods 

Approved refunds will be processed as:

  • Full refund to your original payment method (for defective/wrong items) • Store credit (in some cases, at our discretion)
  • Replacement product at no additional charge 

Refunds typically process within 5-10 business days after approval.

Exchanges 

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or style, you must:

  1. Request a refund for the original item (if eligible)
  2. Place a new order for the desired item 

Shipping Costs 

  • Our error: We cover all return shipping costs
  • Customer error: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable 

Lost or Stolen Packages 

We are not responsible for packages lost or stolen after delivery confirmation. We recommend:

  • Tracking your package
  • Requiring signature confirmation
  • Filing a claim with the shipping carrier if your package is lost 

Damaged in Transit 

If your package arrives damaged:

  1. Take photos of the damaged packaging and product immediately
  2. Contact us at ahfscolorado@gmail.com within 48 hours
  3. We will file a claim with the carrier and send a replacement 

Production Errors 

We carefully review all orders before production, but errors can occur. If we make a production error, we will:

  • Rush a replacement order at no charge
  • Refund your purchase if you prefer
